| Abstract/Contents: | Explains the use of "other" or "inert" ingredients found in pesticide products. The active ingredient (AI) is the molecule providing the biological activity to control a particular pest. Understanding the AI itself helps understand the role of the inert ingredients. The AI often needs to be diluted in a liquid and choosing the correct inert ingredient to do so is important. The ingredients of a pesticide product can make all the diffeerence between a high-performance product and a mediocre one. |
