| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study "to investigate physiological and growth responses of TifEagle shoots, roots and rhizomes following nitrogen and Primo treatments." Results include that "TifEagle color improved as nitrogen rate increased. However, color declined in July and August from mower scalping and possibly from high nitrogen levels." Concludes that "superintendents in the transition zone who consistently use Primo to manage shoot growth in ultradwarf bermudagrass may be able to reduce yearly nitrogen applications." |
