Reviewer Notes | Hawes: This is the first I have seen claiming salt tolerance for velvet bentgrass. A quick check of the literature revealed nothing on this. Hawes: Although comments on slide note that velvet bentgrass in green survived flooding with seawater, this fact is not as clearly shown as all the debri removed from the green and surrounding area from the hurricane of 1938. |
