Abstract/Contents: | Discusses "displacement aerification as it applies to a golf green," noting that the "principles apply equally to tees, fairways, and athletic fields." States that the method of displacement "refers to the removal of material", as opposed to disruption which "refers to equipment that penetrates a green's surface but is not intended to remove significant amounts of material....The balance between the two forms...the type of equipment and its frequency should be based on the specific needs of the green."
