Abstract/Contents: | Presents data from the 1987 research analysis of costs for Nitrogen (N) fertilization. Four nitrogen fertilizers, each at three N rates, were applied to Penncross creeping bentgrass. Fertilizer rates were selected that provided a season average color rating of 7.5 (0.5 unit above acceptable color). Fertilizers were: fine grade Milorganite, regular grade Milorganite, IBDU, and Urea. Table 1 shows fertilizer, mode of application, and application rate. Table 2 shows component and total costs for annual applications of different fertilizers. |
