| Abstract/Contents: | Describes research conducted at University of Agricultural Sciences Vienna, concerning stress tolerance of selected herbs and grasses. Explains the goal as to collect "alpine seeds for enduring ecologically beneficial turfgrass (no fertilization, no irrigation) from rich and various species." Notes the test plots are treated with a special roller to imitate heavy traffic. Briefly mentions test plots conducted by the Richter Rasen Company concerning different rootzone mixtures for transportable soccer, football and tennis pitches. |
