| USGA Summary Points: | Establishment of all zoysiagrass genotypes was slower than expected, especially in Fairfax. Most of the plots fully established by summer 2020. Cool temperatures, especially average low temperatures, were most likely a limiting factor for turf establishment. Several zoysiagrass genotypes retained acceptable color during the first winter of the study and good color retention in November 2020. There was considerable variation among the genotypes in terms of growth, quality, and color. |
