| USGA Summary Points: | RNA degradation and foreign contamination have been resolved. All host plant RNA samples were sent to Novogene for sequencing on an Illumina HiSeq platform and generated an average of 78 million pair-end reads (~156 million each). High quality RNA extractions for wheat, Bermudagrasses, bentgrass, and Kentucky bluegrass were sequenced and have undergone bioinformatic analysis. Sequences from Brachypodium distachyon have also been obtained and have undergone bioinformatic analysis. |
