USGA Summary Points: | Soil-dwelling and surface-active arthropod abundance in novaluron-treated turf was not significantly different from untreated controls. Insect populations in all treatments recovered to pre-application levels after 14 days. No significant differences were observed in arthropod predation between insecticide treatments. Novaluron did not impact ant mounding behavior whereas bifenthrin and a bifenthrinclothianidin significantly reduced ant mounding for a period of 14 days. |
