| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses studies on the effects of N-(nbutyl) thiophorshoric triamide (NBTP) and dicyandiamide (DD) on urea when applied to turfgrass. Results of testing show that DD does not significantly inhibit nitrification, though it did affect color and yield slightly; NBTP reduced N loss. States that UMAXX (urea treated with NBTP and DD) did not significantly affect root mass for bentgrass or ryegrass, though it did raise N uptake levels from fertilizers applied to ryegrass. |
