Abstract/Contents: | SUMMARY: "A few simple precautions will help insure that your turf irrigation system will continue to function properly. Simple visual checks from time to time during operation will detect many problems before they become to serious. Wet and dry spots detected between irrigations also point to problems which may require prompt attention. It is also helpful to remember that an irrigation system, while composed of many individual parts, is a single complete system designed to operate as such. You should not attempt to alter the system, such as by adding a zone or removing sprinkler heads, without first consulting a qualified irrigation designer." |
