Abstract/Contents: | "Isazophos has been recognized as an effective nematicide in pasture or turfgrass applications (2). In pot trials reported here, isazophos as a simulated treatment gave greater reduction in nematode numbers in ryegrass seedlings than oxamyl seed treatment, but phytotoxic effects reduced seedling emergence and delayed growth. Separate field trials using the same soils gave similar nematode control but phytotoxic symptoms were less pronounced (3). Oxamyl had no adverse effect on plant growth." |
