Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to determine if bi-monthly applications of Trimmit, Primer, and supplemental N [nitrogen] sources (i.e., ammonium sulfate, urea, Lesco's 12-0-0 Chelated Fe [iron] plus Micronutrients, and Macrosorb) would result in less dollar spot and improve the overall quality of 'Crenshaw' creeping bentgrass." Discusses the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "all treatments were applied alone and also were tank-mixed with Primer. Additionally, Daconil Ultrex was included as a standard for comparison." Reports that "Daconil and Trimmit effectively controlled dollar spot in this study. Ammonium sulfate unacceptably injured the foliage when not water-in [watered-in]."
