Fall 2022 Update:

Abstract/Contents:Describes a study conducted in February 2006 in Blacksburg, Virginia, to characterize cold temperatures "suspected as a reason for decreased control of cool-season grasses." Lists possible causes of poor sulfonylurea herbicide performance, including stress caused by drought or disease, rainfall or mowing shortly after treatment, or errors made in mixing and calibration. Concludes that "temperature has major influence on the activity of Revolver and minimal influence on the effectiveness of Monument...Bermudagrass competition plays an important role in the ultimate death of perennial ryegrass."
