Abstract/Contents: | Discusses Dr. E. J. Kinbacher's collection and evaluation of buffalograsses and other native species from the Great Plains states. States that "part of these materials were field planted in late 1984, but at least part of each clone was kept in the greenhouse because of the risk of winter kill, due to the planting date (late August)." Also states that "because of the stoloniferous nature of buffalograss it will be necessary to use Round-Up (glyphosate) to keep plots separated." |
