Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) on turfgrass stating that it "results in a beneficial reduction of mowing frequency by reducing turfgrass growth rate." Describes the "effects of amidichlor (Limit), flurprimidol (Cutless), mefluidide (Embark), paclobutrazol (PP-333), and fenarimol (Rubigan) on evapotranspiration of Kentucky bluegrass." Concludes that "significant positive correlations existed between ET [evapotranspiration] rates and plant heights for 21 through 42 DAT)." |
