Abstract/Contents: | Describes a test conducted during fall of 1983 investigating low maintenance on tall fescues. States that "this low maintenance evaluation receives preemergent weed control, is mowed at a 2 1/2 inch height, receives 2 lbs. [pounds] nitrogen/1000 sq. ft. [square feet]/growing season and is watered only under severe drought conditions." Reports that "the maintenance conditions imposed simulate an average tall fescue home lawn." |
