| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "assess the ability of Emerald and several experimental fungicides to reduce dollar spot when applied preventively." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "fungicide treatments included various rates and application intervals of confidential fungicides. In addition to the confidential treatments, two rates and application intervals of Emerald were evaluated." Reports that "trace levels of dollar spot...were present when the study was initiated on 30 June [2006]." Also reports that "in addition to disease ratings, quality within all plots was assessed during the study...Quality within all fungicide treated plots always was greater than the untreated control plots." Concludes that "in generall, all fungicides tested in this study provided acceptable levels of dollar spot control when applied on the scheduled 14 or 21-[day] interval." |
