Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "in general, most treatments were applied beginning on 11 May [2006] and reapplied on either 14 or 28 day intervals. There were no visible anthracnose symptoms at the time of application and no other chemical controls were applied to the area for the duration of study." Reports that "anthracnose symptoms developed between 13 and 20 [July 2006]...Overall quality of the putting green throughout the study was generally poor due to the reduced nitrogen fertility, low mowing height and aggressive cultural practices used to encourage disease activity." Mentions that "as anthracnose pressure became more severe and annual bluegrass began to thin, algae developed within the study area."
