Abstract/Contents: | Describes the poisonous effects of using organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides through the inhibition of cholinesterase, an enzyme produced in the liver. Includes signs and symptoms, muscarine and nicotinic effects, cholinesterase surveilance, and tables of: 1) cholinesterase activity in normal human blood, 2) pesticides, Oral LD50, and Dermal LD50. |
