Abstract/Contents: | Presents figures on the cost to develop, test, and introduce a new variety of turfgrass. Begins with an initial $500 for each entry in the first screening of a new selection or hybrid, costs of two-thirds of the selections that fail, national testings, plant variety protection, to a grand total of $73,700 in costs for a Kentucky bluegrass variety. |
