Abstract/Contents: | Results of 8 experimental and commercially available herbicides to control broadleaf weeds in Kentucky bluegrass with spring applications. Fourteen teatments were replicated (3 times) on 6x10 foot plots and applied at 50 GPA. Turf received 3 lbs. of nitrogen per 1000 ft2 annually and was mowed at 2.5 inch height. Henbit control as well as overall broadleaf control is presented in a table. Express at 0.03 lb ai/acre received the highest rating (97%) of spring broadleaf weed control. |
