Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to assess establishment rates and spring survival of 12 warm-season and 5 cool-season turfgrasses." Lists cultivars used in the study, including Vaugn, Alma, Hachita, Cody, Legacy, Princess, Sahara, and A137. Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "during establishment, fertiliser [fertilizer] and water were applied to prevent nutrient and drought stress." Reports that "all grasses established successfully during the summer of 2003 and spring of 2004 at both locations. Bouteloua curtipendula cv Vaugn established the fastest and both Disticlis spicata cultivars established the slowest."
