Abstract/Contents: | Reports a study "developed to assess the magnitude of the effect of nutrient loss on the surrounding surface water during the different stages of a golf course development." States that "in order to monitor the environmental impacts before construction (pasture cover), during construction and during early operation of the golf course, three stream-gauging stations were set up in the watershed." Concludes that "if a golf course is managed properly, the surface water quality in a golf course-dominated watershed could be returned to its original condition." |
