Abstract/Contents: | Presents a question in regards to application timing of a fall fertilizer. Responds that a second application of fertilization in the fall might not need to be applied prior to winter dormancy. Suggests that "the purpose and benefit of a dormant application differs from that of late season fertilization in that the benefits are reaped in the spring." Adds that when dormant fertilizer is applied in the fall, the application during that following spring should be delayed. |
