Abstract/Contents: | Profiles Fusarium patch (Microdochium nivale), a disease that commonly affects cool season grasses. Describes potential chemical and cultural control options. States that "when dealing with the control of a disease like Fusarium patch, it is always best to spray preventively once the disease is visible the damage is done." Suggests to "avoid excessive nitrogen fertilization as this stimulates lush succulent shoot growth, especially during humid periods," and to "maintain a soil pH [potential Hydrogen] of less than 6.5." |
