Abstract/Contents: | "This experiment was conducted to survey the effect of wind treatment on the micrometeorological factors in bentgrass plants and patting green. By wind treatment to patting green, turfgrass lead temperature (Tl), soil temp. (Ts), air temp. (Ta) and vapor pressure deficit (VPD) declined comparing to those in natural condition. Especially, Tl declined strongly by wind treatment. In greenhouse experiment, cumulative evapotraspiration of pot increased, but dry matter production of creeping bentgrass was not effected by wind treatment. According to heat balance, these results were suggested that wind treatment can make water balance better to potential evapotranspiration status in bentgrass patting green during summer season." |
