Abstract/Contents:Overviews seven types of insecticides: organophosphates, carbamates, pyrethroids, neonicotinoids, oxadiazines, anthranilic diamides, and combination products. Emphasizes that "this description is not meant to be all-inclusive but is concentrating on the most commonly used materials." Lists available insecticides in each group, and advises that "turf managers who are using combination products should avoid the temptation to apply the material too early in the spring."
