Abstract/Contents: | Overviews research conducted in Michigan, Florida, and Sweden to evaluate the interactions between mowing and rolling. Details Thomas Nikolai's role in the research, as well as the methods used in the study. Reports that "there was only 1-inch average difference between rolling and mowing daily (Table 1, treatment 2) and rolling daily and mowing every other day (Table 1, treatment 4)." Concludes that "the best way to find out which mowing/rolling programs works for you is to take daily greens speed measurements from at least one green." |
