Reports that the recall is in response to damage and death to nontarget tree, including white pine, Norway spruce and other evergreen twists, describing damage as twisting and curling of new growth, eventually progressing to death of the trees. States that "DuPont has submitted more than 7,000 reports of damage or death to select trees as well as test data confirming a link between Imprelis and tree damage."
