Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to compare different tall fescue cultivars. Details the methods and materials used in the study, stating that the trial has "65 varieties of tall fescue replicated 3 times in randomized complete block design" that are kept under high maintenance conditions. Reports that "the visual quality ratings for the last three periods in 1990 did not yield many differences." Concludes that "tall fescue will develop more of a niche in the Oklahoma environment... the increased interest in turfgrasses that stay greener, longer will increase the use of tall fescues in commercial properties and homelawns." |
