Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to test the effects of MON-15100 on "Golf Flame" spiraea, "William Penn" barberry, "Kasan" pyracantha, and seeded crabgrass. Detilas the methods and materials used in the study, stating that "all plants and seeds were in a potting mix consisting of 4 pine bark: 1 sand" and amended with fertilizers. Reports that "no phytotoxicity was apparent on any woody plants regardless of the herbicide or rate applied." Concludes that "MON-15100 is effective in controlling crabgrass and that higher rates result in control later in the season" and that "MON-15100 is apparently safe to use on barberry, spirea and pyracantha." |
