Abstract/Contents: | Reports that treatment for patches of exposed soil "will be prescribed by the [Queensland] Board on application by subscribers, on receipt of full particulars by the Board [in 1935]." States that experiments conducted under the Board's direction have found that applications of "equal parts sulphate of ammonia and superphosphate applied at the rate of one and a half ounces per square yard" to be effective. Gives other tips such as mulching the bare patches after treatment. Notes that for large bare patches, more invasive treatment may be needed. |
