Abstract/Contents:Discusses the legality of herbicide use on school grounds with regards to the New Jersey School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Act. Notes that the IPM act encourages use of environmentally friendly strategies for pest management rather than traditional pesticide applications. States that in order to be authorized to use pesticides, a log must be kept showing the acceptable limits for the pest have been exceeded, and that low-impact pesticides must be considered first.
