Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted by the Italian Golf Federation Green Section Research "on the second-year performance of bentgrass cultivars." Details the methods and materials, noting that eleven different cultivars of creeping bentgrass were planted in a constructed putting green for the research and were subjected to various cultural practices, including mowing, fertilization, and topdressing. Reports on the turfgrass quality, leaf texture, and moss invasion of each cultivar. Concludes that "these investigations will be continued for two more years before final conclusions can be drawn."
