Publishing Information:[Lanzhou Shi, China]: ["Cao Ye Xue Bao" Bian Ji Wei Yuan Hui]
Abstract/Contents:"5 vegetative turf establishment methods were evaluated in coverage, time of turf formation and turf quality with Lanyin No. 1 turf type bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon) and Lanyin 3 turf type zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica) as vegetative meterials [materials]. The results showed that stolonizing+topdressing was the best method, directly stolonizing could be adopted only under good irrigation condition; plugging and strip sodding were not often recommended because of its slow turf formation, poor turf quality and high cost of establishment."
