Abstract/Contents:"Three genetic marker techniques (POD, EST and RAPD) were used as assistant tool for identifying 10 species of Poa while the morphological systematic was used as control. The results showed that the three techniques have the same characteristics, that is fast, simple and economic. Both POD and EST techniques could be used for identifying the species of Poa, but POD technique is superior to EST technique in stability, feasibility and band concentricity. RAPD is the best one among the three techniques for identifying the species and studying the interspecies relationship of Poa, and the result of clustering analysis according to RAPD technique is almost the same as that of the morphology classification."
