Abstract/Contents:	"More than 770 greens were tested in 32 states during a sevenmonth period from May to November. The data was divided into two categories: the first, on greens considered to be in everyday play condition and secondly, greens considered primed for championship play. Comparison tables have been charted in order to provide a numerical handle to provide golf course superintendents and their committee chairmen greater consistency on their course; also a national table from which they can rate the speed of their greens."
