Abstract/Contents:"The three mowing heights influence on the ball speed of six greens in Nanhai Golf Course through analyzing different ball speed before and after mowed, and mowing height were 4.3, 4.5, 4.7mm were studied. The results showed that the average speed of green couldn't over 22.9cm when the mowing height was the 4.7mm, while the average speed of green was 24.1cm that could match the normal competition until the mowing height was the 4.5mm. As the mowing height was 4.3mm, the average speed could exceed 25.4cm, the difference of the turf quality become the one of the decisive factor which influence green speed to change."
