Abstract/Contents:"Gray leaf spot (GLS), caused by Magnaporthe grisea, is a major fungal disease of St. Augustinegrass [Stenotaphrum secundatum (Walt.) Kuntze], causing widespread blighting of the foliage under warm, humid conditions. We used QTL mapping and transcriptomics approaches to identify the genetic resistance of GLS, with aim to identify the geneitc markers and candidate genes, which could be used in marker assisted selection for GLS improvement in St. Augustinegrass."
