Abstract/Contents: | An objective of this study was to evaluate the rooting medium, Fe source, and Fe level in a whole-plant screening procedure which would distinguish cultivar tolerance in Fe-deficiency stress conditions. Another objective was to evaluate the best plant-growth parameters to be used to measure turfgrass responses to Fe-deficiency stress. Also discussed is the potential of a newly developed synthetic Fe oxide which can be used as a slow release Fe fertilizer. |
