Abstract/Contents: | The present study was undertaken to determine the influence of shredded leaf debris from deciduous trees on the spring greenup and growth of Common bermudagrass. Tree leaves used in the study were collected from several deciduous tree species: Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Pecan, and Cedar Elm. It is likely that leaf deposits of the tree species used in this study can be safley mulched into dormant bermudagrass without causing delays in the resumption of growth in the Spring. |
