Abstract/Contents:Discusses, in question and answer format, what a superintendent should do if a ball in play bounces off a maintenance vehicle or if a staff member inadvertently moves a ball at rest. It is to be considered a "rub of the green" if a ball in motion is accidentally deflected or stopped by an outside agency, such as a staff member or their truck. But if the superintendent or crew member somehow moves a ball at rest (e.g. kicks the ball), the ball must replaced to the spot where it was before it was moved. Further details are given.
