Abstract/Contents: | The author, a golf course superintendent, expresses his vexation at the negative public attention given golf courses by the media. He believes that the current outcry against pesticides is premature and does not take into consideration the decline of quality that would occur if pesticides were completely removed from the golf course. Due to modern standards for pesticide usage, he is not overly concerned about health risks for the applicators or the golfers on the course. |
