Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the steps superintendent Bob Ervine made to get the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club in good condition for the Amateur Championship. Four greens and five tees were rebuilt. Bob had to combat such problems as drought and considerable amounts of soluble salts in the course's water supply. Despite all of these problems, Bob was able to present a championship golf course. |
