Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the increase in public compliance with recycling and the heightened interest in environmental affairs. Addresses the issue of yard wastes and landfills, explaining that many states have legislation against the disposing of yard waste into landfills. As a result, composting is on the rise. Addresses some problems that compost facilities face, which are excessive processing costs and objectionable odors. Lists possible solutions to these problems. |
