Abstract/Contents:"The test track at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is rimmed in sparkling gold and vibrant blue wildflowers. Other sections of the firm's Akron, Ohio, headquarters are trimmed in crimson red flowers..." There were plans to plant the wildflowers in a compost made by the City of Akron. The Material is called TechnaGro, a compost produced since 1988 at the city's facility. TechnaGro is permitted for any application, including food crops. "The material is a mixture of hardwood bark, sawdust and municipal treatment solids."
