Abstract/Contents: | Talks about the importance of covering greens. To combat ice and the dead grass it creates, green covers were used on three greens that usually were damaged after winter. The cover acts as a mini-greenhouse and gives a good headstart in the Spring. This particular golf club covers about 18 greens and 9 tees in a three day period. This process was said to be very labor intensive but worth the cost. |
