Abstract/Contents: | A greenhouse root observation system was used to screen 199 buffalograss genotypes for root initiation and penetration to obtain a smaller population for repeated measures on parent and progeny material. Results indicated that over time, variation in root extension was significantly different among the initial and selected genotypes. |
