Abstract/Contents:Discusses research concerning high sand content soils and soil mixtures used in putting greens and tees. Factors that influence the soil strength and stability of high sand content soils are discussed, including distribution of different sized sand particles and sand particle shapes. Anticipated future work of the high sand content soils research program is outlined.
